Alë Jay

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and currently based in New York, Alë Jay is an award-winning Musician/Composer/Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist. After honing his musical skills at the world renowned University of North Texas Music Program, his musical versatility has allowed him the opportunity to work in many different lanes in the music industry.

As an advertising/tv music composer, Alë Jay’s calling card has become the ability to create in a wide array of diverse styles at a moment’s notice. Notable spots/campaigns include a track called “Shine” written and produced for Target, and original compositions for two Major League Baseball city-promo spots (Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals). Additionally, in 2017, Alë Jay won a Gold CLIO Music Award for his song “Put It Down” created specifically for an advertising campaign focused on the dangers of texting and driving for Apple Sport Chevrolet.

As a solo artist, he debuted in 2015 by opening for John Legend at SXSW, and has gone on to garner millions of streams worldwide as an independent artist.

As an instrumentalist, Alë Jay has gone on to record horns as a session musician for a variety of artists, and perform as a saxophonist for multiple groups across the US, most notably sharing the stage as a saxophonist with Maggie Rogers.
